full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, scheduling, cost control, subcontracting, and team coordination experience. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Coordinate trades, permits, resources, and project readiness. Monitor project progress, quality, schedules, and company standards. Manage project changes, change orders, and client instructions. Collaborate with Project Engineers and Superintendents. Track project costs, budgets, expenses, and profitability. Coordinate project billing with accounting. Develop project cost estimates and implement cost-control measures. Prepare and manage subcontracts and procurement activities. Coordinate schedules and project execution with Superintendents. Communicate project changes and maintain accurate documentation. Oversee project closeout and final financial settlements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted. Minimum 5 years of project management experience in heavy construction . Strong knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and procurement. Experience with subcontract negotiations and management. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. HCSS experience preferred. Familiarity with USACE and FHWA projects is advantageous.
