THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of industrial and commercial electrical projects — from estimating and permitting through final inspection and closeout. You'll split your time between our Maumee office and active job sites, working closely with field crews, owners, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and on brand with GLIC's reputation for quality. Project sizes vary — you'll be equally comfortable running a focused commercial tenant improvement and managing a large-scale industrial build. No two weeks look the same.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead estimating and bidding on industrial and commercial electrical projects of all sizes Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and job cost tracking from kickoff through closeout Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, GCs, and clients — managing expectations and keeping communication clear Coordinate permitting, inspections, and compliance with local jurisdictions and project specifications Work directly with IBEW field crews and foremen to align on scope, sequencing, and manpower needs Identify and manage project risks, change orders, and RFIs in a timely manner Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards Support project closeout including punch lists, as-builts, and final documentation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5-8

years of project management experience in electrical or construction contracting Solid background in industrial and/or commercial electrical work — you understand how the field operates Proven experience with estimating, job costing, and managing projects from bid through closeout Familiarity with permitting processes and inspection requirements in Ohio and Michigan Strong communicator — comfortable in owner meetings, on the job site, and everything in between Experience working in a union environment is a plus; respect for the trade is a must Proficiency with project management and estimating software (Procore, Accubid, or similar) Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across the region

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
