Job Description

Director of Special Projects Commercial Construction My client is seeking a Director of Special Projects to lead a growing commercial construction division focused on negotiated renovation and ground-up projects, typically ranging from approximately $2M-$15M. This is a division leadership role with responsibility for project execution, financial performance, team development, and client relationships. The Director will guide opportunities from pursuit and preconstruction through closeout while overseeing estimating, project management, and field operations. The right person will bring strong construction judgment, financial discipline, and the leadership presence to build a team, protect project performance, and expand a successful division. Responsibilities Lead the Special Projects division Oversee estimating, project management, and field operations Drive project strategy, staffing, budgets, schedules, and execution Manage financial performance, risk, and client expectations Support business development and strengthen client relationships Develop team members and improve accountability across the division Partner with executive leadership on growth and operational priorities Qualifications 10+ years of commercial construction experience Experience leading renovation and ground-up projects Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, project management, and field operations Proven ability to lead people and manage project performance Strong business judgment and client-facing communication skills Why This Opportunity?
