This candidate must be licensed in the State of Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring that designs meet client specifications while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and construction teams. This position will focus on K-12 educational design but will also have opportunities in other design types. Experience in dealing with OFCC, the OSDM, and local districts is a must. This position is a senior level position and has the opportunity for advancement within the firm. This position is for a 'working' Project Architect/Manager - contributions to the Revit model and drafting skills will be needed. Duties Develop and present architectural designs and concepts that align with client needs and project goals. Create detailed drawings and specifications using software such as Revit. Collaborate with other designeres and consultants to integrate functional and aesthetic elements into the project. Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of all phases of design and construction. Oversee construction management activities and conduct site visits, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Engage in business development activities to foster relationships with potential clients and stakeholders. Manage other team members including interior designers, consultants, BIM modelers. Skills Proficiency in architectural design software including Revit, Sketchup, and Bluebeam. Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and practices. Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and construction management processes. Ability to sketch concepts quickly for client presentations or team discussions. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, and contractors. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in design execution. Experience in business development is a plus, contributing to the growth of the firm through client engagement.
