The Operational Excellence Co-Op position is dedicated to exposing the applicant to multiple opportunities related to Crown's Lean Management System. These opportunities can either be project-based or event/experience-based depending on the background of the applicant and current department work focus.

Job Responsibilities:
Listed below are examples of work content for the position:

Support value stream mapping projects and events

  • opportunities to learn and use software such as Video TimerPro, eVSM, Visio etc.
    Support continuous improvement, 5S, process mapping, etc. events within multiple plants/departments.
    Support Operational Excellence web-based and instructor-led training module development
  • opportunities to learn and use PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
    Create pages for lean resources within Operational Excellence's SharePoint page
  • tracking systems, dashboards, repositories
  • opportunities to learn and use Power Automate, Power BI, Excel, etc.

Assist with conducting and/or tracking historical data for continuous improvement events or assessments.

Job Qualifications:

Candidate must have a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement.

Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and work effectively in a team.

Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.

Must have own reliable means of transportation and willingness to travel.

Preferred candidate will be pursuing a degree in Operations Management or Engineering

  • Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.
