Job Description

Project Manager - Structural Steel Erection Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel erection projects from award through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel erection and be comfortable managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, field crews, and client relationships. Responsibilities Manage structural steel erection projects from start to finish Oversee project schedules, budgets, costs, and overall performance Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, and field personnel Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements Coordinate steel deliveries, erection schedules, cranes, equipment, and manpower Manage subcontractors, vendors, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to management Monitor project progress and address issues to keep work on schedule Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Support project closeout and final documentation Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in structural steel erection Strong understanding of steel erection processes, sequencing, rigging, and field operations Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contracts Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience working with general contractors and commercial construction teams Benefits Competitive base salary Performance-based bonus opportunities Comprehensive health benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Long-term career advancement with a stable, growing contractor Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
