Job Description
The Project Support Specialist III provides high-level administrative, project coordination, and document control support to project managers, engineering teams, and site leadership. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of project activities through coordination of meetings, management of project documentation, tracking of action items and deliverables, preparation of reports, and support of various project administration functions. This is a full-time, on-site position located at Perry Nuclear Power Plant in Perry, Ohio . The successful candidate must be capable of obtaining and maintaining all required site access credentials, security clearances, training, and badging necessary to work within a commercial nuclear power generation facility. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum five (5) years of project support, project coordination, document control, administrative, or related experience. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities. Effective written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting engineering, construction, utility, industrial, or power generation projects. Customer-facing role and Project Controls experience is welcomed. Previous experience working at a nuclear facility or other highly regulated environment. Experience with document management systems and project controls processes. Nuclear Site Access Requirements This position requires routine access to a commercial nuclear power plant.
Candidates must:
Be able to work on-site at Perry Nuclear Power Plant on a full-time basis. Successfully complete all required site security screening, background investigations, fitness-for-duty requirements, badging processes, and access authorization requirements. Maintain compliance with all nuclear site security, training, safety, and access requirements throughout employment. Be eligible to obtain and maintain unescorted access authorization, if required by the assignment. Comply with all applicable client, regulatory, and company policies regarding nuclear facility access and conduct. Working Conditions Primarily office-based within a nuclear power generation facility. Regular interaction with project teams, station personnel, contractors, and client representatives. Occasional walking throughout the plant site and attending project meetings in various facility locations. May require overtime or schedule flexibility to support project demands. This role is ideal for an experienced project support professional who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment and enjoys being a key contributor to successful project execution while working directly with site and project leadership. Provide project support and administrative services to project managers and multidisciplinary project teams. Maintain electronic and hard-copy project files, records, and documentation in accordance with company and client requirements. Coordinate meetings, training sessions, project reviews, and other project-related events, including scheduling, logistics, meeting materials, and meeting minutes. Track project action items, deliverables, milestones, and status updates, ensuring timely communication to project stakeholders. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other project documentation. Coordinate document transmittals, distribution, and document control activities while ensuring compliance with established procedures. Assist project managers with expense reporting, travel coordination, procurement support, and other project administration activities as required. Interface directly with client representatives, site personnel, vendors, and project team members to support project execution. Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. Provide guidance and informal mentoring to junior Project Support personnel when required. Perform other duties as assigned in support of site and project objectives.Benefits
