Messer Construction is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead mechanical and process piping scopes on complex commercial and industrial projects. You will own project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors and vendors, driving safety and quality, resolving technical and constructability issues, and overseeing installation of piping systems. You'll mentor junior staff, partner closely with clients and design teams, and leverage Messer's strong safety culture, training, and technology to deliver high-profile work. Responsibilities Lead mechanical and process piping scopes on large commercial and industrial projects from planning through closeout Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; track costs and progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Coordinate design, detailing, and constructability reviews with engineers, trade partners, and owners Oversee installation of mechanical and process piping systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, codes, and safety standards Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams; resolve technical and coordination issues promptly Implement and enforce Messer's safety programs and quality control procedures on all job sites Prepare and review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports Collaborate with preconstruction on estimating, value engineering, and means-and-methods planning Mentor junior engineers and project staff, fostering continuous learning and collaboration Maintain strong client relationships, representing Messer professionally and supporting business growth Required Skills Project management Mechanical systems (HVAC/process piping) Construction scheduling (e.g., CPM, Primavera, MS Project) Budgeting and cost control Contract and change order management Subcontractor and vendor management Construction safety management Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications Quality control and commissioning Coordination with MEP trades and BIM/Navisworks
