Founder / CEO About DLM DLM Installations is a growing low-voltage integration company specializing in CCTV, access control, and structured cabling across commercial environments. Position Overview We are looking for a Field Project Manager who can take ownership of our field operations—managing technicians, running projects, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, profitably, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will not be behind a desk. You will be actively involved in the field—leading crews, solving problems, configuring systems, and making sure every job is completed the right way the first time. You will be responsible for coordinating daily installs and longer-term projects, managing technician performance, maintaining install quality, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. This is a leadership role with direct impact on company expansion. Field Operations & Project Execution- Oversee and coordinate daily installation jobs and multi-day projects across multiple sites
- Plan and organize job execution including labor allocation, scheduling, and material readiness
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope
- Step in on-site when needed to support installs, troubleshoot issues, or keep projects on track Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, manage, and hold technicians accountable for performance, productivity, and quality
- Assign tasks clearly and ensure crews stay efficient and on pace throughout the day
- Train and develop technicians on installation standards, system setup, and best practices
- Address performance issues directly and maintain a high standard across all crews Installation Quality Control
- Enforce DLM installation standards across all job sites
- Ensure all cabling, device installation, and terminations are clean, organized, and professional
- Verify all systems are properly installed, tested, and fully operational before job completion
- Minimize callbacks by maintaining strict quality expectations System Configuration & Technical Oversight
- Configure and support systems including CCTV, access control, and network-connected devices
- Troubleshoot system issues including connectivity, power, and hardware-related problems
- Ensure proper IP addressing, device setup, and system functionality across all installations Scheduling & Resource Management
- Coordinate technician schedules, job assignments, and project timelines
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are prepared ahead of each job
- Work with leadership to prioritize jobs and allocate resources effectively Client & Communication Management
- Serve as a point of contact for customers and site managers during active projects
- Provide clear updates on job progress, timelines, and any issues that arise
- Represent DLM professionally on-site at all times Documentation & Job Closeout
- Ensure all jobs are properly documented with notes, photos, and system details
- Confirm all installations are complete, tested, and ready for client use
- Support handoff of completed systems including basic client walkthroughs if needed Performance & Efficiency Tracking
- Monitor labor efficiency, job timelines, and crew productivity
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in workflow and execution
- Maintain awareness of job profitability and labor usage Problem Solving & Escalation
- Identify and resolve issues in real time to prevent delays or cost overruns
- Escalate major issues when necessary, but take ownership of day-to-day problem solving
- Adapt quickly to changes in job scope, site conditions, or scheduling Success Metrics
- Maintaining 65%+ labor utilization across field operations
- Delivering projects within ±10% of estimated labor hours
- Achieving high-quality installations with minimal callbacks
- Completing projects on schedule and within scope
- Driving strong labor efficiency and revenue per labor hour
- Ensuring all jobs are fully documented and properly closed out
- Leading a productive, accountable, and continuously improving team Position Type
- Full-time (preferred)
- Base salary 65-75K + performance-based incentive plan.
