Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management experience, and proficiency with industry-standard project management and construction software. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, fostering collaboration and clear communication across all levels. Develop detailed project schedules utilizing project management software to track progress and identify potential delays. Oversee construction estimating processes and cost management strategies to optimize resource allocation and control project expenses. Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications; ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations and safety standards. Coordinate with clients, insurance and building departments. Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory adherence; conduct regular site inspections. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes using tools like ProCore or Prolog to ensure contractual obligations are met efficiently. Prepare comprehensive project reports detailing progress, risks, costs, and timelines for stakeholders' review. Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing project schedules effectively while balancing scope changes or unforeseen challenges. Skills Experience with construction management software and Xactimate Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques, cost management practices, and project scheduling methodologies. Proven ability to manage teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills. Deep understanding of construction plans, and technical specifications. Knowledge of construction regulations and regulatory compliance requirements. Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization in fast-paced settings. Effective communication skills for coordinating among diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret contracts effectively for project execution.
