Job Description Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing assigned projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives. This role provides leadership to cross-functional teams, manages project risks, and ensures effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects according to defined scope, schedule, and budget. Develop project scope, goals, deliverables, work plans, and detailed schedules. Monitor project performance, track milestones, and provide status reports to stakeholders. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout all phases. Facilitate communication between project teams, leadership, customers, and vendors. Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting. Lead project review meetings and post-project evaluations. Support operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives. International travel up to 25% of time to support learning and implementing processes and equipment.
Required Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership and teamwork abilities with cross-functional groups. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Desired Skills:
Experience with working to develop new processes. Demonstrated ability to lead medium-to-large programs or complex projects. Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid). Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or other related discipline. Master's degree a plus Minimum of 5-10 years of project management or process engineering experience in a relevant industry.
