Diverse Building Solutions is a rapidly growing construction company located in Wilmington, Ohio. We operate primarily in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Thanks to our exceptional and continued growth, we are for a Project Manager to join our team. In the role of Project Manager, you will be required to be organized with good leadership and communication skills.   • Skills, knowledge and abilities required for the role of
Project Manager:
  • At least five years of construction experience.
  • At least three years of project management.
  • Basic knowledge of software programs, such as Procore, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneDrive.
  • Familiarity with the operation of office equipment, such as cameras, printers, computers, scanners, and copiers.
  • Ability to write reports and professional correspondence to vendors, architects, government officials, and clients.
  • Good reading comprehension for technical documents, such as blueprints, safety regulations, assembly and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making including experience in managing demanding clients and offering creative solutions to meet commitments and requests.
  • Excellent Verbal communication skills, especially when addressing customers and site visitors. Job responsibilities and duties to include:
  • Design, implement and direct all phases of construction projects.
  • Work directly with employees, contractors and customers concerning project cost, staffing, scheduling.
  • Prepare project status reports and work to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications and budgets.
  • Coordinate scheduling of equipment, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors to complete each project on time.
  • Set performance goals and deadlines.
  • Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards and budgets are met at various stages of the project.
  • Communicate with the operations team and support each crew and subcontractor to execute their job duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location.
  • Maintain a daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site.
  • Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects.
  • Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary.
  • Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
  • Set an example in keeping the jobsite organized and clean. When applying include references, past employment, and past project with descriptions with resume. This position may require you to be available during varying hours based on customer needs. Our crews are currently working Monday through Friday 7:30 am
  • 5:30 pm.
Schedule is subject to change based on weather, workload or other factors based on business need.
