Type:
full-time The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all project administration including all contractual requirements, agreements with trade partners, purchase orders, and risk management. This individual also manages general work performance and quality, and overall team progress against the project plan. Open to relocation candidate's w/ a relocation package or traveling candidates.
Key Responsibilities Budget & Forecast Management :
Develop cost-to-complete forecasts, identify budget risks/exposures, track field directives and back charges, and maintain accurate project financial reporting.
Change Order Administration :
Manage PCOs, CORs, OCOs, allowances, and change order tracking while ensuring timely cost recovery and resolution of subcontractor changes. P roject
Closeout :
Lead project closeout planning, documentation collection, punch list management, compliance tracking, and closeout training.
Payment & Cash Flow Management :
Oversee owner and subcontractor requisitions, maintain schedules of values, manage cash flow, monitor payment cycles, and prevent overpayments.
Project Controls & Reporting :
Maintain and review project logs, track key project metrics, and identify risks, exposures, and operational issues.
Subcontractor Management :
Build strong subcontractor relationships, enforce accountability, and address performance concerns to minimize project impacts.
Schedule Management :
Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor critical path activities, mitigate delays, coordinate schedule updates, and provide owner reporting.
Risk Management :
Mitigate project risks through contract compliance, timely notices, change authorization management, subcontractor oversight, and process adherence.
Client Relationship Management :
Foster strong owner relationships through proactive communication, transparency, and high-quality project delivery.
Quality Assurance :
Implement quality management programs, inspections, mock-ups, and nonconformance tracking to ensure project quality standards are met. Must Haves Minimum 5 years in a Sr. Project Management role and at least 10 years of relevant experience. At least 2 years of recent data center construction experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong background in forecasting, budgeting, billing, risk management, and executive-level reporting. Deep understanding of project scheduling, critical path management, and contract schedule administration. Strong people-management skills with the ability to lead PM teams, communicate effectively, and drive accountability. Proficient in Procore and project financial management systems. Highly organized with experience managing detailed reporting, forecasts, and project documentation. Plusses OSHA 30 certification preferred. Construction Management degree strongly preferred. Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree (20+ years preferred). Working knowledge of construction trades and field operations. If they don't have specific data center experience, the oil & gas industry would be considered.
