This individual will be responsible for the overall administration and management of projects from initiation to completion. Candidates must have strong project management experience in a commercial setting. In addition, candidates should be well organized, detailed oriented and enjoy working with people. Responsibilities Day-to-day management of various sized commercial fit-out projects. Manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning through completion and turnover. Coordinate with project teams and external vendors to develop comprehensive project budgets. Develop project schedules, distribute to stakeholders, and manage as necessary to meet milestones. Initiate job start process to include job start forms and proper setup of job budgets. Schedule and attend regular site visits to ensure safety, scope, and schedule compliance. Provide accurate and timely project reporting to key stakeholders through project meetings, site visits, and shared reports. Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth logistical flow of materials and services throughout projects. Manage change orders, coordinating between impacted project stakeholders. Coordinate and host field meetings with key project stakeholders. Analyze projects upon completion to identify successes and/or areas of improvement - "Lessons Learned". Close out projects to include final signoff/turnover, budget settlement, administrative closeout, and warranty distribution. Project Planning Review plans, timelines, and other project documentation to gain deep understanding of project requirements and expectations. Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and clients to develop and finalize project scope, timelines, and expectations. Review plans for scope inconsistencies and recommend value engineering solutions when applicable. Additional Responsibilities Estimating Develop high-level planning estimates from concepts for projects. Consolidate bids into detailed construction estimates which itemize cost components. Collaborate with key project stakeholders to strategically plan project budgets. Produce accurate product quantity takeoffs from plans. Create change order labor adjustments for projects to protect against margin erosion. Qualifications and Skills Skills Required 5-10 years of experience in commercial furniture project management with hands on experience in labor cost estimating. Project experience in commercial office, healthcare, education, and hospitality settings Knowledge and understanding of AIA contracts. Knowledge of the Eastern PA marketplace Strong critical thinking and decision-making ability. Highly organized and able to meet deadlines in a complex environment with shifting priorities. Basic mathematical, spatial, and conceptual thinking ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation and people skills Goal oriented, highly motivated self-starter and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate effectively with the team and solicit help when needed. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. General knowledge of Green/LEED buildings is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Continually sits, stands, and uses hands for fine manipulation, performs basic math calculations, and uses computerized systems, modern office machinery, and phone systems. Frequently navigates the office and job sites independently, follows complex instructions using logic, processes verbal information to input/retrieve information from computer system, and works to complete deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Converse in a calm and friendly manner, effectively use written, verbal, and electronic communication, and evaluate data on a computer system. Must be able to accommodate changes in work assignments or processes on short notice. Occasionally lifts/carries paperwork, deliveries, files, samples, etc. up to 30 pounds. Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
