Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. In this role, you will be the vital link ensuring seamless communication, organization, and execution across multiple projects. Your proactive approach will help drive project success from inception through completion, supporting project managers and field teams with essential coordination, scheduling, and documentation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction project management while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects. Duties Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely delivery of milestones. Coordinate between design teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project workflows. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings including Auto CAD files to support accurate project planning and execution. Support construction estimating processes by preparing cost assessments and reviewing contracts to ensure budget adherence. Use Pronest, Vcarve, and AutoCAD for CNC Programming of blueprints. Monitor project progress on-site through regular site visits and inspections; assist in tracking work quality and safety compliance. Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, schedules, budgets, and potential risks for review by project managers. Manage time effectively across multiple projects by prioritizing tasks, coordinating meetings, and maintaining detailed documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site coordination or project support roles with a solid understanding of construction processes. Familiarity with construction engineering software AutoCAD, Pronest, and Vcarve. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction estimating techniques. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently. Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams including engineers (), contractors, clients, and suppliers. Basic understanding of project scheduling principles and construction management practices. Prior hands-on experience on construction sites is highly desirable to better understand field operations.
