Job Summary This small family owned business is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Coordinator to lead and coordinate infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. Experience in Petroleum industry a plus, but not necessary. In this role, you will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring all aspects align with client specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will drive project success by managing teams, controlling budgets, and maintaining schedules while fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a significant impact on small-scale construction initiatives. Responsibilities Develop project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Submission of timely bids with estimates within range of job scope. Coordinate construction schedules and job materials to ensure timely completion of projects while managing multiple subcontractors. Oversee construction estimating processes and cost management to stay within budget parameters. Work directly with the Operations Manager with progress. Review construction submittals, plans, blueprints, and specifications; ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality control, safety adherence, and regulatory compliance on active construction sites. Facilitate communication between clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain alignment on project objectives. Track project milestones and deliverables. Ensure all construction activities adhere to legal requirements and safety protocols while promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members. Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with a focus on scheduling and cost control. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately for effective project coordination. Strong background in managing teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and experience managing project budgets from start to finish. In-depth understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, environmental policies, and regulatory compliance procedures. Hands-on construction site experience that provides practical insight into daily operations on active projects. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
