Job Description

C.B. Structures is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager assumes responsibility for assigned construction projects following contract execution and manages them through successful completion and closeout. This position coordinates planning, procurement, scheduling, field operations, project finances, and communication while serving as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong construction knowledge with leadership, organization, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and quality standards. In this role, you will: Manage assigned projects from handoff through completion and closeout. Review contracts, drawings, specifications, estimates, schedules, and other project documents. Coordinate project schedules with owners, general contractors, Superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams. Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, equipment, deliveries, and site logistics. Ensure field teams and subcontractors have current project documents and information. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules based on field conditions, weather, material availability, and other project changes. Maintain regular communication with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Monitor project budgets, job costs, billing, subcontractor invoices, and overall financial performance. Prepare and manage change orders as required. Identify and resolve project issues related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety. Participate in project closeout, including punch-list items, final documentation, and project review meetings. Moderate local and regional travel to active project sites and other locations is required. We're looking for someone with: Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, engineering, business administration, or a related field preferred Five or more years of relevant construction management, project management, or field supervision experience preferred Strong construction project management and leadership skills Knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and safety practices Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, budgets, and schedules Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills Effective subcontractor and field-team coordination Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage project costs and identify budget concerns Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project conditions Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction An equivalent combination of education and relevant construction experience will be considered Why CB Structures?
