Responsibilities / Day-to-DayOwn end-to-end delivery of a Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (WMS) implementation, ensuring alignment to defined scope, timeline, and business outcomesDevelop and maintain a dynamic master project plan, managing dependencies across testing, integrations, training, and go-live activitiesDefine and govern system scope, configurations, and customizations; manage change requests with clear business justification and timeline impactAct as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and the WMS vendor, holding all parties accountable to delivery commitments, timelines, and SLAsLead cross-functional coordination across Operations, IT, Inventory, Finance, QA, and HR to ensure alignment and executionEstablish and enforce RACI, ensuring all deliverables have clear ownership and committed deadlinesDrive defect management and triage processes, ensuring timely resolution and prioritization throughout testing phasesOwn User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, defect resolution cycles, and business sign-offPlan and execute Mock Go-Lives and develop a detailed cutover runbook with defined rollback criteriaLead go-live execution, including war room coordination, issue resolution, and stakeholder communicationOversee post-go-live hypercare, tracking issues, stabilizing operations, and ensuring successful transition to steady stateMaintain a proactive risk and issue management process, identifying and escalating risks early with mitigation plansProvide concise executive-level reporting, including status, risks, and key decisions requiredQualifications7+ years of project management experience, including full lifecycle WMS or ERP implementations (design through go-live and hypercare)Direct experience with Manhattan Associates WMS (Manhattan Active WM preferred)Proven ability to define scope, manage configurations/customizations, and build/execute detailed project plansStrong experience managing enterprise software vendors and holding them accountable to delivery commitmentsBackground in distribution, logistics, supply chain, or similar operational environmentsDemonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional projects with tight timelines and high visibilityStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadershipAbility to operate independently, drive accountability, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work on-site as needed (more frequently during project kickoff); regional travel preferred
Preferred:
PMP or equivalent certificationExperience with large-scale workforce change managementFamiliarity with defect tracking tools and reporting (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, etc.)Experience supporting high-volume or 24/7 operational environments
