Full Time, On-Site PSC EHC Acquisition, LLC is a full-service environmental consulting and contracting firm providing cost-effective, turnkey abatement solutions throughout the Mid-Atlantic States. We specialize in environmental services related to the built environment and serve commercial, industrial, municipal, healthcare, educational, and residential clients. About the Position We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong sales and business development focus to join our team in Exton, PA. This position is responsible for actively generating new business, developing and maintaining client relationships, estimating and securing work, and managing projects from bid through completion. A significant part of this role is getting out into the market and finding new business. The successful candidate will be expected to actively pursue prospective customers and project opportunities rather than relying solely on incoming leads or existing company accounts. This includes building relationships, networking, visiting prospective clients, conducting outreach, following up on opportunities, and identifying new sources of revenue. The ideal candidate will combine strong abatement/construction industry knowledge with the ability to sell work, develop accurate estimates and proposals, build lasting customer relationships, and manage the overall success and profitability of awarded projects. Candidates who bring an existing book of business or established client network within the construction, environmental, or related industries are highly preferred. Job Roles and Responsibilities Actively generate new business and project opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold outreach, client visits, industry relationships, and other business development activities. Develop new relationships with general contractors, facility managers, property managers, consultants, municipalities, school districts, healthcare facilities, industrial clients, and other potential customers. Regularly be out in the market meeting with existing and prospective customers, developing relationships, identifying upcoming projects, and promoting company services. Leverage existing industry relationships and professional networks to identify and pursue new opportunities. Develop, maintain, and grow client relationships and accounts with a focus on repeat and referral business. Maintain an active pipeline of prospective customers and project opportunities and consistently follow up on leads, estimates, and proposals. Attend industry events, networking opportunities, client meetings, and other functions that can generate new business. Identify additional services and project opportunities within existing customer accounts. Manage projects from bid through completion, ensuring customer expectations, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and profitability goals are met. Review survey reports, laboratory results, site plans, bid documents, and project specifications to determine project requirements. Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates including labor, materials, equipment, containment requirements, disposal, and anticipated timelines. Prepare and present professional proposals, estimates, and project scopes to prospective and existing clients. Follow up on estimates and proposals, answer customer questions, negotiate as appropriate, and work to convert opportunities into awarded projects. Conduct site visits as needed for estimating, project oversight, and client meetings. Coordinate with Operations Managers and field teams to ensure efficient scheduling and execution. Serve as a primary customer contact throughout the project and maintain regular communication regarding scope, scheduling, progress, changes, and project needs. Identify and address scope changes and additional work opportunities, including change orders when appropriate. Monitor project performance, costs, and profitability using established company metrics. Maintain awareness of project status and work with Operations to address issues that could affect schedule, cost, scope, or customer satisfaction. Ensure project requirements comply with applicable OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations. Maintain strong internal communication with Operations, Accounting, and company leadership. Maintain customer relationships following project completion to generate repeat business, referrals, and future project opportunities. Assist in developing strategic sales plans and identifying new markets and growth opportunities. Qualifications, Skills & Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in asbestos, lead abatement, environmental services, construction, or a closely related industry. Project management and estimating experience within the abatement, environmental, or construction industries. Strong construction sales and business development experience. Demonstrated ability to prospect for and generate new business, not solely manage existing accounts or incoming opportunities. Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships. Existing book of business, client portfolio, or established industry network highly preferred. Strong knowledge of abatement procedures, containment methods, and regulatory requirements preferred. Experience working with general contractors, property managers, facility managers, consultants, municipalities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and/or Industrial clients preferred. Proven ability to estimate projects, develop proposals, close sales opportunities, and manage projects from bid through completion. Ability to understand project costs and maintain focus on profitability and financial performance. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and client-facing skills. Self-motivated, outgoing, and comfortable initiating contact with prospective customers and pursuing new opportunities. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, estimates, sales opportunities, and active projects simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret project specifications, environmental reports, site plans, and technical documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to travel throughout the market for business development, client meetings, and project site visits as needed.
