About Us At Lancaster Cabins, we build beautiful, turn-key tiny home cabins, also known as park model cabins, in both log cabin and modern styles at our facility in Gap, PA. Our portable cabins are built for campgrounds and getaway settings, providing places of rest, inspiration, and retreat. Rooted in Lancaster County, we're a Christian, family-oriented company committed to quality, integrity, teamwork, continuous improvement, and honoring God in all we do. What You'll Do as aProject Manager Lead:
Manage new and custom cabin projects through the full development process, from concept selection through successful production handoff.Coordinate:
Guide concept drawings, final renderings, and production-ready blueprints while keeping each stage moving forward.Source:
Select materials, components, and suppliers through price negotiation, identifying new sources when needed.Equip:
Provide Marketing with the initial renderings, product narrative, and pricing information needed to introduce new cabin models.Collaborate:
Work with the Production Manager to coordinate prototype construction and resolve design or production challenges along the way.Finalize:
Coordinate production documentation, BOMs, ERP information, and other product-specific details with technical team members.Launch:
Release market-ready products to Sales and complete a smooth handoff to Production.Improve:
Manage periodic model-year updates and support ongoing R&D efforts focused on improving and innovating Lancaster Cabins products.Our Ideal Project Manager Experienced:
3+ years of experience in residential construction, building design, product development, or a closely related field, and a strong understanding of project management principles and processes.Organized:
Keep multiple projects, deadlines, documentation, and moving parts on track from concept through production.Proactive:
Take ownership, anticipate next steps, and keep projects progressing without constant direction.Collaborative:
Build productive relationships with leadership, vendors, designers, production, and technical teams.Tech-Savvy:
Work proficiently in Microsoft 365, learn project/task management software, and bring familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.Problem-Solver:
Work through design, sourcing, prototype, and production challenges with practical judgment and persistent follow-through.Values-Aligned:
