Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a hybrid contract role in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of IT project management experience, strong Agile development experience, and a proven ability to work directly with software development teams. This role will support a variety of technology initiatives, including online product launches, e-commerce/catalog initiatives, website development, and IT application projects. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and will bring strong project lifecycle knowledge beyond the Scrum framework. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation through delivery and closeout. Partner directly with software developers, business stakeholders, product teams, and internal leadership. Manage projects using both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, selecting the appropriate approach based on project needs. Coordinate online product launches, including website/catalog updates, product information, photography, and other digital assets. Manage projects within an online selling/e-commerce environment. Translate business needs into clear project requirements, deliverables, timelines, and milestones. Manage rapidly changing priorities while maintaining project momentum and stakeholder alignment. Coordinate project resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables. Build and maintain project schedules and Gantt charts using Microsoft Planner or similar scheduling tools. Work closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Support shorter-term initiatives and projects that may have an accelerated delivery timeline. Provide clear communication and status reporting to stakeholders and leadership. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large online product catalogs or e-commerce websites. Experience managing digital content and product launches, including product information and photography. Experience with Azure DevOps or similar development/project management tools. PMP certification is a plus but not required. Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer products, or a similar online-selling environment is preferred.
