Job Description
About Infratek Solutions Infratek Solutions is an engineering and technology company specializing in infrastructure inspection, nondestructive evaluation, robotics, advanced sensing, and data-driven solutions for bridges, tunnels, roadways, airports, and transit systems. Position Overview Infratek is seeking a highly capable and self-directed Project & Operations Manager to work closely with company leadership and take ownership of a broad range of project, operational, business development, administrative, and field-associated responsibilities. This is not a traditional administrative assistant position. The successful candidate will help move projects forward, coordinate people and deadlines, prepare client-facing materials, make sales pitches, own and curate sales pipelines, conduct research, manage follow-ups, and support field operations when needed. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of assigned projects, initiatives, and internal workstreams from initial planning through completion, with limited day-to-day supervision. Act as a direct extension of company leadership by helping prioritize opportunities, drive follow-ups, resolve open items, and keep important decisions and commitments moving. Support business development activities, including identifying opportunities, researching clients and markets, preparing capability materials, coordinating outreach, and tracking leads, proposals, and follow-up actions. Assist in developing proposals, scopes of work, fee estimates, presentations, qualification packages, and other materials used to pursue new work. Participate in client and partner meetings, document decisions and next steps, and take responsibility for ensuring action items are completed. Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, teaming partners, subcontractors, vendors, and public-agency representatives. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, technology, field, and data-processing activities across multiple active projects. Monitor project schedules, deliverables, budgets, risks, and dependencies, and intervene early when work begins to fall behind. Draft and refine professional emails, technical narratives, reports, project updates, presentations, and executive communications. Conduct technical, commercial, and market research and turn findings into clear recommendations and actionable next steps. Help improve internal systems, workflows, templates, tracking tools, and operating processes as the company grows. Step into ambiguous or fast-moving situations, determine what needs to be done, organize the work, and drive it to completion. Support field deployments when needed, including logistics, equipment preparation, documentation, coordination, and hands-on assistance and field presence. Learn Infratek's services, technologies, clients, and project delivery model well enough to represent the company credibly and make sound decisions. Take responsibility for outcomes, not just task completion. Required Qualifications Relevant degrees in business administration, MBA, engineering, construction management, transportation, project management, or a related field. Approximately 3-7 years of relevant professional experience. MBA graduates with no prior experience will be considered. Strong writing, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and independently drive them to completion. Ability to understand technical subjects and learn unfamiliar topics quickly. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Willingness to work fully in person and participate in field activities. Valid driver's license and ability to travel periodically. Preferred Qualifications Experience in transportation, construction, infrastructure, engineering consulting, inspection, public agencies, or field operations. Familiarity with proposals, technical reports, contracts, project schedules, or client coordination. Interest in robotics, artificial intelligence, sensing technologies, or critical infrastructure. Direct industry experience is preferred but not required. A fast learner with strong judgment, initiative, and technical curiosity may be successful in this role.
