In this vital role, you'll serve as the essential link between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring that food is delivered promptly and tables are kept clean and inviting. Your proactive attitude will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests excited about their dining journey. Whether assisting with food delivery, clearing tables, or supporting the service team, you'll be a key player in delivering exceptional hospitality every day. Duties Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, maintaining proper food handling and safety standards. Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and organized dining environment, supporting overall restaurant flow. Assist servers with bussing duties, including refilling beverages, replacing utensils, and ensuring guest needs are promptly met. Support kitchen staff by relaying special requests or dietary needs from guests to ensure personalized service. Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including clearing debris, wiping down surfaces, and organizing supplies for smooth operations. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when needed. Collaborate with team members to uphold food safety standards and deliver a memorable guest experience rooted in hospitality. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations to ensure proper sanitation and hygiene. Familiarity with serving, bussing, and basic food preparation techniques enhances your ability to support the team effectively. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff, servers, and guests. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Hospitality or hotel experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to provide excellent guest service are key.
