Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Project Manager to support a fast-paced technology team in Center City Philadelphia. This role will focus heavily on day-to-day project coordination, keeping multiple priorities moving, managing deadlines, and ensuring the right people are aligned throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience within an IT/technology environment , excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities of the
IT Project Manager:
Coordinate day-to-day project activities across internal teams Manage multiple priorities, tasks, deadlines, and deliverables Coordinate meetings, calendars, stand-ups, and recurring project activities Identify the appropriate stakeholders and ensure the right people are involved at the right time Track action items, follow-ups, deadlines, and next steps through completion Review proposals, documents, and project information and quickly identify key takeaways Communicate effectively with individuals across different levels and backgrounds Learn and navigate company processes to keep projects moving efficiently Provide project updates and follow-up communications to ensure alignment Support administrative and project coordination activities as needed Utilize AI-enabled tools to review meeting notes, summarize discussions, and identify action items and next steps Required Qualifications of the
IT Project Manager:
Project management experience within an IT or technology environment Strong project coordination and organizational skills Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable learning new processes and navigating unfamiliar situations PMP certification strongly preferred Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude is a plus
Compensation & Work Environment:
Hybrid environment Approximately 1-2 days per week onsite in Center City Philadelphia Candidates should ideally be within approximately one hour of Center City Fast-paced environment with a strong focus on day-to-day execution and project coordination Additional details regarding compensation and engagement structure will be provided during the interview process
