Manager Employer:
Scranton, PA, US Location:

Full-time Type:
Fancy Parsley Architecture + Design is seeking a licensed architect to join our growing boutique design studio in Scranton, Pennsylvania. We are a collaborative architecture and interior design firm focused on creating thoughtful residential, commercial, hospitality, and adaptive reuse projects throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. Our work ranges from custom homes and historic renovations to restaurants, offices, nonprofit organizations, and community projects. Every project receives direct involvement from our principals, and every member of our team has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. We are looking for someone who enjoys architecture from concept through construction—someone who is equally comfortable discussing design with clients, coordinating consultants, solving technical challenges, and mentoring younger staff. What You'll Do Lead architectural projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation. Develop thoughtful design solutions that balance creativity with constructability. Coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and specialty consultants. Prepare and oversee CAD/Revit documentation for permitting and construction. Meet with clients, present design concepts, and guide projects through the design process. Coordinate municipal reviews and permitting. Provide construction administration services, as required. Collaborate closely with our design team while helping mentor emerging professionals. Qualifications Licensed Architect preferred (or actively pursuing licensure). 5+ years of professional experience. Strong proficiency in CAD/Revit. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience coordinating consultant teams. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for thoughtful design and client service. What Makes Fancy Parsley Different We are intentionally a boutique firm. Rather than specializing in one project type, our team works on a diverse portfolio that includes custom residences, commercial interiors, adaptive reuse, hospitality, nonprofit organizations, historic buildings, and community projects. Our clients work directly with the architects designing their projects. Decisions happen collaboratively, ideas are valued regardless of title, and our size allows every employee to have a visible impact on the firm's work and culture. We are recognized by the AIA an EPiC Firm, 6 years strong! If you're looking for a place where you'll simply draft details all day, we probably aren't the right fit. If you're looking for a studio where you'll help shape projects, build lasting client relationships, and continue growing as an architect, we'd love to meet you. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid vacation and holidays Retirement plan with employer match Professional development support Flexible work environment Opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of meaningful projects To Apply Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a brief letter introducing yourself and telling us why you're interested in joining Fancy Parsley Architecture + Design.
