As the Manager of Project Management supporting our Pittsburgh area team, you'll be responsible for managing our team of Project Managers and AutoCAD Detailers, ensuring quality control, budgetary guidelines, and client satisfactions are being met. Additionally, you'll be responsible for assuming project management responsibilities on assigned jobs and collaborating with our various teams. Manager, Project Management Responsibilities Oversee the daily functions of the Project Management & Detailing departments. Coach PMs and detailers to improve technical decision-making and execution capability Maintain visibility across active projects, identify recurring issues, and improve processes Conduct reviews of completed work, field installation performance & ensuring technical and operational compliance Build and maintain a knowledge base of vendor performance, historical costs, and lessons learned Define and maintain wide division standards and practical guidelines for rigging, AV, lighting, electrical, and labor Provide real-time technical support to estimators for large projects during pre-sale project development Review complex project quotes during estimating to ensure accurate scope and technical assumptions (Review Vendor Quotes for accuracy - Rigging, AV etc.) Oversee compliance with preferred vendor network Manage departments Budget-to-Actual budget Monitor compliance to company procedures, overseeing record-keeping, assisting in the training of staff and conducting routine audits. Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
This includes:
Conduct performance reviews on staff. Approve vacation requests. Work with HR on employee relation matters. Provide daily mentoring & coaching to staff. Additional responsibilities may be assigned. Requirements Manager, Project Management Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree and/or 8+ years of relevant industry experience Prior leadership/supervisory experience required. Experience working with Microsoft Office, PM software, and ERP systems (ex. JDE) Possess strong communication skills. Ability to mentor / coach staff, along with strong team-building skills. •This position must be in-office, within our Pittsburgh area division (Warrendale, PA)•
