The assemblies produced are small and easily handheld and the work is performed at a bench in a fast-paced lab environment. Hand tools and soldering irons are used most. All work is done at the direction of other Technicians and Engineers. Responsibilities Able to read and follow assembly drawings and Bill of Materials Experience using a microscope to hand solder surface mount components as small as 0402 size to a PCB. Able to use hand tools such as screw drivers, wire cutters, wire strippers Manual dexterity to work with small parts Qualifications and Skills Able to use electronic test equipment such as a network analyser is a plus. Basic knowledge of computers and Excel and Word software. Ability to read electrical schematics. Prior experience working with RF Filters or other wireless products.
