Administrative and Project Coordinator The Chester County Bar Association is seeking a new Administrative and Project Coordinator. The Association has 1,000 members and is a volunteer organization that serves its member attorneys, collaborates with the local judiciary, and interacts with the state bar association and other local associations. This position is ideal for an organized, service-oriented professional who enjoys interacting with people while managing multiple projects and deadlines. The Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact at the CCBA office and takes ownership of several recurring programs and administrative projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Front Desk and Member Service a. Welcome members and visitors. b. Answer and route calls. c. Respond to general inquiries. d. Process Lawyer Referral Service requests. e. Coordinate room rentals and depositions. 2. Project and Program Coordination a. Coordinate Law Day. b. Administer the Law Related Education and Fee Dispute programs. c. Coordinate the publication of the Annual Report d. Assist with the Membership Directory, mailings, events, and other assigned projects. e. Track deadlines and communicate with participants. 3. Administrative Support a. Support the Executive Director and other staff. b. Conduct research, proofread materials, and prepare correspondence. c. Take board minutes when requested. d. Process incoming and outgoing phone calls and mail. Greet visitors. 4. Office and Publication Support a. Coordinate food and beverages for meetings. Prepare rooms for meetings and events. b. Serve as backup for the Law Reporter. c. Assist with basic website and publication updates. 5. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
Experienced using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Ability to manage multiple deadline-sensitive projects simultaneously Possess good phone etiquette and effective communication skills Desire to work in a busy environment while maintaining a positive demeanor - be the 'Director of First Impressions' to our members and customers Willingness/ability to work evenings or weekends, as necessary (late afternoon and evening events on limited occasions (less than 5%)) Two or more years of experience in similar role in a business setting Work in-person
PREFERRED
Experience with membership database management Experience with Canva and PowerPoint
COMPENSATION
- Annual salary ($40,000 - $48,000) depending on experience and qualifications

- Parking included (Chestnut Street Garage in West Chester) This is an role working full time (35 hours per week normally) at the CCBA building in West Chester, PA.
