Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. We are one of the largest countertop companies in Minnesota. Responsibilities Preparation of project estimates in response to requests for proposals from potential customers/General Contractors (GC) Prepare GC progress billings in accordance with contract terms and Midwest Stone procedures and the General Contractor billing cycle Assist Project team with maintaining critical and current job information through all phases of project (from preconstruction to closeout) Assist Project Managers with various project administration responsibilities. Utilize Procore and other construction software to track progress, provide documentation and communication Coordinate between MW staff, subcontractors, and GC to keep the project on track Assist as needed with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, project documentation, and material procurement Skills 2+ years of relevant experience (Preferable) Associates Degree / 4 year Degree (Preferable) Must be able to read drawings and specifications (training provided) Knowledge of Procore & other Construction software or willingness to learn Must know Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) High attention to detail Able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Able to work independently and as a team member. Good communication with strong time management skills.
