Key Responsibilities Manage and track BIM-related RFIs and submittals from initiation through completion while ensuring timely responses and proper documentation. Maintain project schedules, dashboards, and action-item trackers utilizing Smartsheet and other project management software. Attend project coordination meetings, prepare detailed meeting minutes, document action items, and communicate follow-up items with project stakeholders. Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of BIM coordination models and installation drawings to identify discrepancies prior to fabrication and installation. Ensure all field-issued drawings are current, approved, accurately formatted, and ready for field installation. Assist with tracking model approvals, clash detection, coordination milestones, and overall BIM project progress. Read and review engineering drawings, specifications, product information, and installation documentation to support project coordination. Build and maintain relationships with Project Managers, BIM Leads, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, design professionals, and other Hilscher-Clarke team members. Assist in preparing project reports, documentation, and status updates for management and project teams. Support administrative functions for BIM/VDC projects while maintaining organized and accurate project records. Relocation and/or travel throughout the state may be required to fulfill job responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in construction management, engineering, architecture, electrical contracting, or a related field preferred. Previous experience working within a BIM/VDC workflow is highly preferred. Experience working for an electrical contractor, MEP subcontractor, or general contractor is preferred. Required Knowledge & Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies within construction documents and BIM models. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Software proficiency including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu, and Smartsheet. Basic familiarity with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360), ProjectSight, or similar BIM software. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BIM models. Understanding of BIM coordination processes and how virtual models translate to field installation. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
