Job Description

Summary Expectations:
Following the lesson plan left by the teacher for whom he/she is substituting in accordance with the school's philosophy, goals and objectives Meeting and instructing assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated Establishing and maintaining order in the classroom Maintaining a classroom environment conducive to effective learning Taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, materials, equipment and facilities Assisting in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and board policies Establishing and maintaining cooperative relations with other employees Reporting to the principal or his/her designee at the beginning and end of the school day OTHER DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the principal Abide by policies in the Faculty Handbook and enforce the policies in the Parent/Student Handbook, including LCA dress and hair code Assist in supervising lunchroom, hallways, and other general school areas before, after and during school
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
PROFESSIONALLY:
Have high patience and compassion for young kids Current FBI/BCI background check High School Diploma or higher (must be able to provide copy of diploma) The ability to obtain State licensure and/or certification, including CPR and First Aid Certification Current Medical Statement Experience working with young children a plus About Liberty Christian Academy Since 1983 Liberty Christian Academy has provided a quality Christian education balanced with biblical teaching from a nondenominational perspective.
