The ideal Project Manager (PM) is experienced and knowledgeable about the Division 8 segment of commercial construction. Additionally, understanding some Division 10 is a plus! This PM will be detailed and diligent, maintaining a sense of urgency in their work. Through being well-organized, the PM will quickly be able to prioritize work among multiple projects, as well as make and execute decisions quickly and independently. While utilizing strong professional communication skills when challenges arise, this PM will build strong relationships both internally and externally through generating solutions and delivering feedback. In staying customer-focused, a successful Project Manager will interact with customers, vendors, and peers with honesty and respectfulness. Please note:

This position is a fully remote role with no travel required. Responsibilities Reviewing blueprints and construction documents to determine the best/required Division 8 and or Division 10 materials for a project and reviewing assigned material for accuracy and compatibility. Providing quotes to customers for commercial doors, frames, and hardware Creating submittals for doors, frames, and hardware that summarize the Division 8 and 10 materials that will be used and sending them to the appropriate party for review. Adding the materials needed for each customer order into LockNet's system and managing the dates that the materials will be sent to the customer. Coordinating delivery of materials with site contacts according to project schedule and deadlines. Maintaining external relationships by following up to ensure safe and timely arrival of material. Troubleshooting errors that may arise such as application or installation issues, changes in construction plans, damaged or defective materials, incorrectly supplied materials, etc. Regularly interfacing and coordinating with other departments (Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, etc.) as needed. Minimum Qualifications 6-8 years experience in Division 8 Project Management. Experience working with Comsense. Experience working in Avaware preferred. Skilled in reading blueprints and plans and creating submittals. Understanding of architectural door and hardware vendors, part numbers/nomenclature, and product applications.
