Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Designer to bring fresh ideas and creative energy to our team. aboutGOLF's mission is to connect businesses and consumers to the most authentic and insightful golf experience, anytime and anywhere. In order to do this, we need creative, thoughtful and ambitious team members to build a category defining product that will serve millions of obsessive golfers and non-golfers. We are hiring a Designer who will be responsible for providing quality architectural design work to clients in a timely manner, while meeting client expectations. The Designer will take responsibility for all aspects of a project, from the initial design through manufacturing and installation of the golf simulator. Excellent project management and communication skills are required, as the Designer will work on multiple projects at varying stages concurrently. This role reports to our Design Lead. Responsibilities Prepare custom architectural plans and detailed BOM's for manufacturing of custom golf simulators, equipment upgrades or retrofits Work directly with clients and clients' contractors to obtain the required site information in order to determine layout and custom design of the simulator Manage each project to align with client's design expectations, and project milestone deadlines Maintain a high level of knowledge of past and present designs, materials, and technology Maintain a positive relationship with past clients and their contractors Perform site visits, take field measurements, and assist with installations Communicate and support other departments throughout the manufacturing and the installation process Document all work and project details thoroughly Skills Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field of study preferred Knowledge of Revit BIM software, Salesforce CRM and the Microsoft family of products Minimum of two years design or engineering related experience Ability to work independently and as a team member and understand and respond to RFI's Excellent oral and written communication skills Must have excellent design and project management skills Understanding of residential and commercial construction methods Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach for generating new ideas Willingness to travel - 10% travel estimated
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:
