Job Description

  • Please note that this position is contingent upon bid award
  • The Junior IV&V Analyst supports independent assessments of technology programs, projects, and operational initiatives.

Working under senior consultants and project managers, this role reviews project documentation, analyzes program performance, identifies risks and issues, develops assessment findings, and contributes to client reporting. This position is ideal for professionals with backgrounds in project coordination, PMO support, business analysis, quality assurance, consulting, or technology project delivery who are interested in developing expertise in program oversight, governance, and independent assessment services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the team in ensuring that the project is delivered to specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with management and work groups to maintain work plan documents.
  • Facilitate meetings or conducts interviews with customers (internal and external), clients, teammates as needed based on project assignments.
  • Gather necessary information to provide analysis, and prepares reports documenting findings of such analysis.
  • Participate in client meetings; develop trust, credibility, and strong client relationships; and seek opportunities to add value above and beyond competitors.
  • Achieve and/or exceed client satisfaction metrics that will increase satisfaction annually.
  • Manage the activities of projects in accordance with Maximus established polices and procedures.
  • Adhere and comply to contract requirements.
  • Attend Division and Corporate meetings as requested and required.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support IV&V assessments for technology implementation, modernization, and transformation programs.
  • Review project documentation, plans, schedules, reports, requirements, and other project artifacts to evaluate project performance and compliance with established processes.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze project information from stakeholders, meetings, project repositories, and performance data.
  • Identify risks, issues, process gaps, and areas for improvement through independent analysis and evidence review.
  • Prepare findings, reports, presentations, meeting summaries, and supporting assessment documentation.
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews, project meetings, workshops, and review activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and client stakeholders to support assessment and reporting activities.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of IV&V methods, templates, and best practices. Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 0•3 years of experience consulting within designated function required.
Additional Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, PMO support, consulting, quality assurance, audit, compliance, or technology project environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • This is a remote position with an expectation of up to 25% travel based on business and client needs.
