EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Applying equity and social justice principles is a daily responsibility and a foundational expectation for all King County employees. As the Hybrid Work PPM, you are expected to model and apply equity and social justice shared values, behaviors, and practices across all of the job duties such as: Support planning and execution of Metro's hybrid workplace implementation including developing schedules, milestones, and communications with input and collaboration from stakeholders including employees, leadership, King County FMD and KCIT partners, vendors, and external consultantsCoordinate with internal and external partners to ensure workspace readiness and resource availability; lead and facilitate project meetings with partnersGather and analyze data related to hybrid workplace programs and use to monitor and report on scope and schedule of projectsRespond to inquiries regarding the project, including managing an employee-facing SharePoint site with project updates and hybrid work resourcesAssist in development of various communications, process and policy documents, and other employee guidance, based on input from leadership, employees, and technical and subject matter expertsManage all move and space planning details in collaboration with Metro divisions including: scheduling and oversight of remaining consolidation efforts; coordinating disposition or relocation of existing furniture and equipment in support of sustainability goals; managing incoming furniture, developing communications throughout move activities; and managing the post-move closeout process, including developing a process for ongoing support.Other related duties as assigned

This role ensures activities are planned, well communicated, operationally smooth, and aligned with organizational goals, employee experience, change management practices, and Executive direction. The position will coordinate cross-functionally with human resources, facilities, technology, and communications teams to ensure a consistent experience for employees in a hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills and a track record in successful project management. This role will require onsite presence at King Street Center and other King County worksites (as needed) 4-5 days a week with potential for 1 day a week telework, as business needs allow. This recruitment will be used to fill one Term Limited Temporary/Special Duty Assignment position. In addition, this selection process may be used to generate an eligibility pool for future career service, term limited temporary, and special duty assignment vacancies that may occur in this classification within this workgroup.
