Compensation Range:

$45.00 - $64.00 per hour (maximum) Cella is seeking a Mid-Level Packaging Project Manager to lead creative workflow and drive end-to-end execution for our retail client's exciting Accessories and Trend category! In this role, you will partner directly with cross-functional product and packaging teams to navigate ambiguity, manage multi-project workflows, and ensure high-priority creative initiatives hit key deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Manage and facilitate the full end-to-end creative project workflow from inception through final packaging delivery. Partner closely with Product and Packaging Teams to balance project workloads, identify key priorities, and streamline creative timelines. Lead project development, production, and photography studio processes across multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring strict adherence to specifications and deadlines. Forecast resource needs, proactively identify workflow bottlenecks or barriers, and recommend solution-oriented paths forward to senior leadership. Schedule, prepare, and lead all regular project meetings and team alignment discussions. Maintain clear, continuous communication across management and support staff to keep cross-functional partners informed at every stage of development. Exercise independent judgment and adaptability to clear obstacles in high-ambiguity situations and deliver timely results.

Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of project management experience managing creative teams, ideally within a design agency or internal corporate packaging team.

Industry Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the creative process, print production, and associated production timetables.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for workflow tracking and presentation needs.

Certifications:

PMP certification is preferred. Exceptional detail orientation, resourcefulness, and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Proven ability to multi-task, make sound decisions under tight deadlines, and pivot quickly as priorities shift. Strong follow-up and follow-through capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
