We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead transformative water and wastewater projects for key municipal clients. As a Principal Project Manager, you'll be more than a project leader, you'll be a trusted advisor and strategic partner. You'll build strong relationships at every level of client organizations, ensuring Jacobs is their consultant of choice. Working closely with our sales and delivery teams, you'll champion client goals, drive innovation, and deliver projects that exceed expectations. What you'll do
  • Facilitate our strategy and business growth
  • Work with very skilled and well-established projects, winning work, and collaborating with others to strengthen our market growth.
  • Provide technical leadership
  • Oversee all aspects of water and design projects including quality of engineering work performed, and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate activities of engineers, technicians, and field staff
  • Ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Mentor to aid in the growth of our junior staff.
  • Work closely with Jacobs Client Account Managers and Operations teams in pursuit of water opportunities in the area.
  • Advancing long-term existing relationships with water clients in the Atlanta area at the state, city and county levels, leading the development of execution strategies, and supporting proposal and presentation preparation activities. Here's what you'll need
  • BS or MS Degree in an engineering discipline with a focus on water/wastewater systems and infrastructure.
  • Minimum 15 plus years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects in the water/wastewater field.
  • PE License in Georgia or ability to obtain within 12 months. Ideally, you'll also have:
  • Experience with water treatment plants and/or wastewater treatment plants greater than 20-mgd.
  • Demonstrated project experience in the Georgia Water Market.
  • Construction observation/management and field start-up services experience.
  • Experience with Alternative Delivery, including Design-Build and/or CMAR.

Minimum 160,000.00
Posted Salary Range:

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $160,000.00 to $220,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
