Responsibilities Responsibilities will include:
In cooperation with the Project Manager, coordinate signage projects from planning through installation and project closeout; Communicate with clients, internal project teams, installers, and other stakeholders regarding project schedules, site conditions, installation needs, and outstanding items; Utilize project management software to track projects, deadlines, installations, missing items, and other project information; Review project drawings, sign schedules, location plans, and other documentation for accuracy and completeness; Conduct site surveys and field verifications at client facilities as needed, including confirming sign locations, measurements, mounting conditions, existing signage, and other site-specific information; Document site conditions through measurements, notes, and photographs and communicate findings to EMG's project and technical drawing teams; Receive shipments of signage and materials, including picking up air cargo shipments at Denver International Airport when necessary; Check incoming signage against packing lists and project documentation, identify missing or damaged items, and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate team members; Maintain organization and accurate inventory of signage and materials stored at EMG's Colorado storage location; Prepare and organize signage for upcoming installations; Coordinate with installation crews before and during installation projects to help ensure that materials, site access, drawings, and other requirements are ready; Meet installers at project sites and provide field coordination, quality control, or installation assistance as needed; Complete installation of smaller or straightforward signage projects independently when appropriate; Verify completed installation work, identify punch-list items, and coordinate corrections or missing signage; Attend client meetings, project meetings, construction meetings, and site walks as needed; Maintain project photographs and documentation for project records and client reporting; Assist with estimating, quoting, project documentation, and other coordination responsibilities as needed; and Take on additional responsibilities as projects and the Colorado operation continue to grow.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; Ability to use a computer and navigate software required for remote collaboration; Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines; Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize when field conditions or project information do not match project documentation; Comfortable communicating directly with clients, contractors, installers, and internal team members; Comfortable working independently while remaining closely connected with a remote team; Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Colorado's Front Range, primarily between Pueblo and Fort Collins; Comfortable working in active healthcare, commercial, and construction environments; and Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Preferred:
Previous experience in project coordination, project management, construction coordination, facilities, signage, architecture, manufacturing, or a related field; Experience reading architectural drawings, floor plans, sign plans, or construction documents; Experience conducting field measurements or site surveys; Experience coordinating contractors, installers, or construction-related work; Basic knowledge of signage materials, fabrication methods, or installation techniques; and Experience managing physical inventory or project materials. Previous signage experience is helpful but is not required. We are more interested in finding someone who is organized, dependable, observant, comfortable in the field, and capable of learning the technical aspects of the position. Travel and Work Environment This position is based in Colorado and serves projects throughout the Front Range. The majority of travel will be between Pueblo, Colorado Springs, the Denver metro area, Boulder/Broomfield, and Northern Colorado.
