Job Description

Project CoordinatorHartford, CT (Hybrid)Contract | Through June 2027Are you a highly organized Project Coordinator who enjoys driving complex initiatives, collaborating across teams, and supporting executive-level programs? We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support a high-profile HR1 Program focused on reducing SNAP error rates, improving operational performance, and delivering measurable outcomes across a large public sector environment. In this role, you will work directly with Program Management and senior stakeholders, helping coordinate critical initiatives that impact program effectiveness, compliance, and service delivery.

What You'll Do Support project activities associated with the HR1 Program and related operational improvement initiatives Coordinate efforts across business, operations, policy, and technology teams Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and action plans Facilitate leadership, governance, and operational meetings Manage action items and ensure accountability across stakeholders Develop dashboards, executive summaries, and leadership status reports Monitor program performance metrics and communicate progress updates Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence Required Qualifications Experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Analyst, Program Coordinator, PMO Analyst, or similar role Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder coordination skills Experience tracking project plans, milestones, risks, and deliverables Ability to create executive-level reports, dashboards, and status updates Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills Experience working across multiple teams and competing priorities Preferred Qualifications Government or public sector experience Human services, healthcare, benefits administration, or social services experience Experience supporting compliance, quality improvement, or performance management initiatives Familiarity with SNAP, Medicaid, eligibility operations, or related programs Location Hybrid Hartford, Connecticut Local candidates Only Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
