This long-term contract position calls for a hands-on leader who can bring structure, clarify priorities, and guide a fragmented cross-functional team from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate understands the technical, marketing, and operational components of online commerce projects and can keep stakeholders aligned on scope, timelines, and accountability.

Responsibilities:

Direct the project lifecycle from kickoff through launch, ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are actively managed. Lead cross-functional teams by establishing clear ownership, improving collaboration, and maintaining accountability across all workstreams. Define, refine, and control project scope to keep deliverables aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Coordinate eCommerce implementation activities spanning platform configuration, technical execution, marketing readiness, and operational planning. Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and use structured project management practices to track progress and remove delivery obstacles. Maintain project plans, status reporting, and issue logs within Jira and other PMO tools to provide visibility to leadership and team members. Partner with stakeholders to resolve ambiguities, make informed decisions, and keep the initiative moving in a focused direction. Provide guidance on WooCommerce-related efforts when applicable, helping the team navigate implementation details and platform-specific considerations. Requirements Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end eCommerce implementation projects in a lead project management capacity. Strong command of formal project management methodologies, including Agile Scrum and structured delivery governance. Proven ability to drive scope alignment, enforce accountability, and organize fragmented teams around common objectives. Proficiency with Jira and related project tracking tools used in PMO environments. Solid understanding of the technical, marketing, and operational elements involved in launching or enhancing eCommerce platforms. WooCommerce experience is strongly preferred, or comparable experience leading implementation work for similar eCommerce solutions. PMP certification is preferred.
