The organisation maintains dedicated Mission Critical and Aviation Infrastructure business units, delivering electrical systems for facilities where uptime, precision, and coordination are paramount. Position(s)
Summary :
The Project Manager - [Mission Critical OR Aviation] will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex electrical construction projects within mission‑critical or aviation environments, including medium‑voltage (MV) electrical scopes with individual project values up to $30M . This individual will manage projects from pre‑construction through commissioning and close‑out, with full accountability for safety, schedule, quality, financial performance, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires experience operating in live, highly constrained facilities where operational continuity and compliance are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Leadership Lead full lifecycle execution of mission‑critical and aviation electrical projects from pre‑construction planning through final turnover. Manage medium‑voltage electrical scopes (including substations, primary distribution, switchgear, feeders, and infrastructure systems) with values up to $30M . Establish and maintain project execution strategies that prioritise safety, quality, schedule certainty, and constructability. Pre‑Construction & Planning Support pre‑construction activities including estimating reviews, budgeting, value engineering, procurement planning, and logistics sequencing. Drive constructability reviews and collaborate closely with BIM/CAD teams to ensure coordinated, clash‑free installation in dense and operational environments. Participate in pull‑planning and phase planning processes to support fast‑track or phased delivery models. Schedule & Cost Management Develop, track, and manage detailed project schedules, identifying risks related to access, outages, phasing, and operational constraints. Maintain full responsibility for cost control, forecasting, change management, billing, and financial reporting. Proactively identify and manage scope changes and commercial risk. Safety, Quality & Compliance Act as a visible leader for site safety, ensuring compliance with company standards, client requirements, NFPA/NEC standards, and site‑specific rules. Implement and oversee project‑specific QA/QC programs, including inspections, deficiency tracking, and documentation control. Ensure compliance with aviation authorities, owner standards, and AHJ requirements, particularly in active or occupied facilities. Commissioning & Turnover Coordinate closely with commissioning agents, owners, engineers, and inspectors throughout energisation and system turnover. Support development and execution of LOTO plans, MOPs, energisation sequences, and load‑banking activities where applicable. Lead close‑out activities including as‑builts, O&M manuals, training, and final acceptance. Client & Team Management Serve as the primary client-facing representative for assigned projects. Lead, mentor, and support project engineers, field supervision, and support staff. Promote a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on delivery excellence.
INDAF Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
