Step into a high-impact Project Manager role where you'll help shape the delivery of technical projects across Glumac's Central Region. This is a great opportunity for a driven, relationship-oriented professional who enjoys balancing client leadership, project execution, and financial performance while working closely with talented engineering teams on meaningful, high-volume work.Position Summary:
As Project Manager, you will lead projects from concept through execution, keeping schedules, budgets, staffing, and quality on track. You'll partner with clients, internal teams, and design collaborators to drive strong outcomes, protect margins, and support repeat business. This role is ideal for someone who brings a big-picture view, strong communication skills, and a mechanical or electrical engineering background to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions: Lead day-to-day project management activities from kickoff through completion Manage project financials, ensuring accurate budgeting, planning, invoicing, and revenue recognition. Coordinate schedules, staffing, milestones, and deliverables across project teams Partner with clients and design teams to ensure clear communication and alignment Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward Support quality control processes and help maintain strong technical standards Build and maintain client relationships that support repeat work and long-term growth Contribute to backlog and revenue goals through effective project delivery and client serviceRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience 5+ years of relevant project management or related technical experience Background in mechanical or electrical engineering Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and commute easily to an officePreferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience managing $1M+ in annual project work Background in AEC project delivery Experience as a Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Client Manager Demonstrated success in building client relationships and generating repeat work Strong understanding of QC processes and project financial performanceWork Environment and Location:
This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a requirement of two in-office days per week in our Sacramento, CA office. All candidates must be located in and eligible to work in the U.S.Compensation:
Salary Range:
$140,000- $180,000 (depending on experience) The base salary range represents the low and high end of the compensation scale for this role.
