Project Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Architect / Project Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for an architectural professional who wants meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from early due diligence and conceptual design through permitting, construction documents, and construction administration. The successful candidate will lead project coordination, manage client and consultant relationships, support design and technical development, and help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate projects through all phases of design and construction. Manage project teams, responsibilities, schedules, deliverables, and coordination efforts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, jurisdictions, and project stakeholders. Balance design objectives with building codes, program requirements, schedule, constructability, and budget. Coordinate with local jurisdictions and review agencies to support entitlement, permitting, and plan-check approvals. Oversee the preparation, coordination, accuracy, and quality of architectural and project-delivery documents. Manage multidisciplinary consultants and coordinate their work throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and resolve design, technical, coordination, and project-delivery challenges. Participate in client meetings, project reviews, construction coordination, and field activities as required. Provide mentorship, leadership, and technical support to junior team members. Maintain high standards for design quality, technical accuracy, communication, and project delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. 5+ years of relevant architectural experience preferred. Architectural license preferred. Demonstrated experience managing architectural projects, consultants, clients, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong creative, technical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of building codes, entitlement processes, CEQA requirements, and local permitting procedures. Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams, personalities, and project stakeholders. Strong leadership skills with an interest in mentoring and developing others. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
