Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Operations Director to lead and oversee the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects within our organization. As a key leader, you will coordinate project schedules, manage budgets, and foster collaboration among diverse teams to achieve outstanding results. Duties Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget. Oversee project scheduling using advanced project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to develop realistic timelines and monitor progress. Manage project budgets meticulously, including cost estimation, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost control measures to maximize efficiency. Supervise construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, construction regulations, and quality assurance protocols. Collaborate closely with project teams to develop detailed construction plans, blueprints, and schedules while managing contract negotiations and administration. Utilize construction management software like ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and other tools to streamline workflows and enhance project visibility. Lead multidisciplinary teams by managing staffing allocations, providing clear direction, fostering teamwork, and ensuring effective communication across all project phases. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project operations and resolve issues promptly. Ensure all construction activities adhere to regulatory compliance standards related to safety, environmental impact, and building codes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance data and implementing best practices in construction management. Qualifications Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting purposes. Demonstrated expertise in construction estimating, cost management, contract administration, and blueprint reading. Strong background in managing teams within a construction management environment with excellent leadership skills. Familiarity with heavy civil projects including roadways, bridges or other large-scale infrastructure developments is highly desirable. In-depth understanding of construction regulations and safety standards applicable across various jurisdictions. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret construction plans effectively. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
