The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Senior ITS Project Manager for a 12-month contract opportunity with a leading university in Boston. In this role, you will lead complex enterprise technology initiatives that support the organization's strategic goals. You'll partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to successfully deliver large-scale projects from planning through implementation. We're looking for a strategic, collaborative project leader who excels in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of delivering enterprise technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work in Boston three days per week. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple large-scale enterprise technology projects from initiation through completion. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and project documentation. Ensure successful project delivery while managing scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. Partner with business leaders, executive stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to drive project success. Facilitate project governance meetings and communicate project status, milestones, risks, and key decisions. Lead organizational change management activities, including implementation planning, user adoption, and post-go-live stabilization. Guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Monitor project performance, financials, and resource utilization while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Conduct project closeout activities, including documentation and lessons learned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 8-10 years of progressive enterprise technology project management experience. Proven success managing large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives within matrixed organizations.

Experience delivering enterprise-level projects involving:

ERP implementations CRM platforms Cloud technologies Infrastructure projects Data integration initiatives Minimum of five years partnering with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership. Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority. Experience leading organizational change initiatives for enterprise technology implementations. Strong experience using data to support project planning, reporting, forecasting, and risk management. Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. Expertise with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies. Experience with project management tools including: Microsoft Project Smartsheet Jira ServiceNow Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and digital transformation initiatives. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
