Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee paving projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of the paving processes , ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities Oversee paving operations on private and DOT projects. Manage daily operations related to the paving crew(s) . Review blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of project plans. Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards throughout the construction process. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues that arise during construction. Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and quality control processes. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
