We are seeking an Automation Project Coordinator to join our team in Duncan, SC! In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between initial concepts and shop-floor execution—guiding project teams through the construction, testing, and on-site delivery of custom industrial machinery.
What You'll Do Drive Execution:
Coordinate daily project activities, collaborating with Project Managers and Operations to keep tasks on schedule and within budget.
Lead Teams:
Provide direct leadership and task allocation for technicians and control technicians throughout assembly and troubleshooting.
Ensure Quality:
Oversee required inspections, equipment testing, and component adjustments to meet strict delivery standards.
Manage Deliveries:
Coordinate logistics, equipment transport, and on-site commissioning at client facilities.
What You Bring Background:
Associate's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field (or 3+ years of equivalent hands-on experience in machine building/assembly).
Technical Skills:
familiarity with mechatronics, power/hand tools, measuring equipment, and machine adjustment procedures.
Adaptability & Leadership:

salary:
$60,000 - $85,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM education:
Associate Responsibilities Project Execution & Planning:
Manages day-to-day project workflows, calculates capacity, allocates personnel/equipment, and ensures projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with technical specifications.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Provides direction, task assignments, and on-site leadership to multidisciplinary project teams, including Technicians and Control Technicians.
Quality Control & Testing:
Oversees required inspections, tests, machine assembly, and system adjustments to ensure all equipment meets delivery and quality standards.
Cross-Functional Communication:
Serves as a key liaison between team members, the Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Technical Coordinators to address issues and implement engineering/design changes.
Client & On-Site Coordination:
Manages client communications regarding delivery schedules, coordinates machinery transport, and oversees on-site equipment commissioning at customer facilities.
Project Administration & Safety:
Leads weekly project status meetings, maintains project documentation/drawing revisions, and enforces health, safety, and quality regulations across all tasks.
