Role Description The Project Manager role at Grossman Building Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Johns Island, SC. The Project Manager oversees custom home and specialty project lifecycles, from pre-construction planning through final inspection and closeout. Daily responsibilities include coordinating schedules, trades, and materials; managing logistics and expediting to keep projects on time and within budget; and monitoring quality standards and compliance with building codes. The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving issues, and maintaining detailed project documentation and reports. The Project Manager works closely with clients, architects, and design professionals to ensure clear communication, alignment with project vision, and a highly professional experience. Qualifications Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination. Expeditor and expediting experience to manage materials, permits, and approvals efficiently. Inspection skills for monitoring workmanship, safety, and adherence to building codes and specifications. Logistics management capabilities to oversee deliveries, site operations, and trade coordination. Experience in residential or custom home construction; familiarity with high-end finishes and details. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions and team collaboration. Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation tools. Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, construction management credentials) are a plus.
