Condustrial, Inc. is now hiring a Commercial Construction Project Manager for our team in Lexington, SC.
Summary:
Will be responsible for overall management direction to multiple construction projects (plans, budgets, schedules, organizes, and controls assigned projects.) Maintains closes contract with subs and clients to meet projects schedule.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Knowledge of commercial building construction means and methods, blueprint reading, scheduling, cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, drawings and specifications Cost Control Ability to track subcontractor's progress, project schedule, and various agencies for reporting and compliance with plans and specs and building codes Quality Control Project Safety On site coordination between trades, materials, and manpower Inspection and examining work in progress and site Meeting with subcontractors to ensure satisfactory job progress Recording information such as personnel, production, and operation data daily Analyzing problems and providing solutions Meet with the project manager regularly to ensure scheduling and progress is on time Conducting and participating in safety meetings Verify safety and design specifications are met Other duties as assigned Requirements Associates degree in construction science or management 5+ years of construction management experience or comparable skills in related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must know Microsoft office and project Must be self-motivated and punctual Able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally In depth knowledge of a variety of construction methods and practices Up to date knowledge of all rules and regulations as they apply to construction
