SALES AND PROJECT MANANAGER SIGNAGE INDUSTRY
Great opportunity for an experienced Signage Salesperson and Project Manager for a commercial signage company. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial signage industry, and an extensive knowledge of the variety @types of signage. Sales territory is the tri-city area near Charleston.
Position Overview:
As an Experienced Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering successful signage projects, including electric, vinyl, channel, monument, cabinets, illuminated/non-illuminated, digital message boards, etc. You will leverage your industry expertise to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Project Planning
  • Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and design professionals to establish project objectives, timelines, budgets, and scope. Resource Management
  • Allocate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements efficiently. Vendor Relations
  • Source and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring quality materials and services. Project Execution
  • Oversee the installation, fabrication, and production of signage projects. Quality Control
  • Implement strict quality control measures to ensure that the final signage products meet or exceed client expectations. Budget and Cost Management
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders. Client Communication
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns or changes. Project Documentation
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders. Team Leadership
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
Project Manager Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the signage industry, with an extensive knowledge of the different sign varieties. Strong understanding of signage materials, production processes, and installation techniques. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Leadership skills to inspire and guide project teams.
